Who are those girls?!

My name is Jordan and me and my big (much older) sister, Jess, love the internet. We're also self-proclaimed food critics who have a knack for technology, news and anything that's just plain interesting. We've been saying for years that we were going to start a blog and share our awesome and sometimes hilarious (at least we think they are) reviews and critiques on the new things we try... and here we are.

Where did the name come from you ask? Well, Jess' nickname growing up was "Queenie" (I'm sure you can infer where that came from) and being the older seester (get used to me calling her that, I don't think I've used the term "sister" for her in a lonnnng time), it was her duty to come up with a nickname for me. I'm not sure exactly how she arrived at "George", but it somehow stuck and ever since that's been my nickname. A good friend of ours suggested a collaboration of the two nicknames as the blog title, and that's where we got "Queen George", which is pretty catchy if you ask me.

Born and raised in Canton, Ohio (home of our beloved Pro Football Hall of Fame!), Jordan (right) is a nurse by day and mom/friend/sister/cake decorator/choc-o-holic and now blogger by night. Jess (left) is a Clinical Supervisor for a medical coding company and mom/friend/sister/computer geek by night. 

We know a little bit about everything, and chances are if we don't know something we certainly know how to find the answer. We hope that through this blog you are able to learn something new, try something new, or share something new with us!
